Quantix is a free
and adaptable BSD-licensed microkernel operating
system.
Quantix is intended on being a microkernel with X running on
top.
This offers a number of advantages, including the ability to run on
older processors (although X may not be able to) as well as outstanding
performance on the newer ones.
